It’s going to be a big weekend for fans of Korean hit drama Goblin, with one if its lead actors, Lee Dong Wook, coming to our shores for a fan-meet. And, shopaholics who love flea markets – especially like those found in Thailand – can also brace for the inaugural Artbox Singapore market.

1. Lee Dong Wook ‘For My Dear’ Asia Tour in Singapore

Lee Dong Wook, one of the lead actors from popular Korean drama Goblin, is coming to Singapore this weekend to make fans blush with his Grim Reaper charm. The fan-meet is part of his “For My Dear” Asia tour, and will be for one day only. Here’s hoping that the actual Goblin, Gong Yoo, will make a special appearance, too. Fingers crossed!

2. Artbox Singapore

Fans of one of Bangkok’s most iconic flea markets, Artbox, rejoice! Starting from this weekend, Artbox is coming to Singapore for two weekends. Brought to you by local flea market organiser Fleawhere, shoppers can also expect the signature shipping containers, just like the original Bangkok version.

3. Sunrise on the Bandwagon Riverboat

Singapore’s online music publication and popular gig site Bandwagon is bringing back their music-on-a-boat event with a stellar regional line-up, with names such as German DJ Boris Rubin who is now based in Thailand. This is also the first time that Bandwagon is teaming up with local music agency The Council.

4. Michelin Guide Street Food Festival

An key event awaits food-lovers this weekend with the inaugural Michelin Guide Street Food Festival, where festival-goers will get a chance to try food from all the Singapore restaurants that were recently given Michelin stars. Local eateries given the Bib Gourmand nod will also be showcasing their popular dishes.

5. Fred Perry Record Rally

Every music lover will know that April is the time to celebrate Record Store Day. While the celebration in honour of independent record stores across the world won’t happen till next week, fashion brand Fred Perry is rounding up music junkies early this year with a pre-record store party. Look out for a vinyl-only marketplace, live performances by local acts and a special vinyl sleeve exhibition.

6. Singapore Modest Fashion Weekend

In good time for Hari Raya this year, which takes place on 25 June, Muslim fashionistas can look out for new Hari Raya fashion trends this year at the first-ever Singapore Modest Fashion Weekend. Look out for popular modest fashion designers such as FiziWoo. The event is organised by RoseValley, in partnership with MediaCorp.

7. Pet Expo 2017
