Weekend Guide (1 - 3 December): Christmas Wonderland, Disney in Concert: Frozen
This first weekend of December brings us the festivities of the holiday season, from the highly-anticipated Christmas Wonderland 2017 at Gardens by the Bay, to a festival book fair. There is also Disney in Concert: Frozen for some fun for the whole family.
Christmas Wonderland 2017
Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair returns for its fourth edition with a giant luminous Christmas Tree, part of the Italian luminarie – Sculptures of Light throughout the fairground. There will also be family-friendly acrobatic performances by Circus Abyssinia Present Ethiopian Dreams, skating under the stars, carnival games and the festival Christmas market.

Disney in Concert: Frozen
More than 70 live orchestra musicians and choir singers will bring the beloved soundtrack behind the adventures of Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff to life on stage. As the musicians perform in synchronisation with the movie projected on a giant screen, alongside its dialogue and sound effects, the whole family gets to enjoy the soundtrack like never before.

A Touch of Wild: Adedance Aerial 2017 Student Showcase
The first ever student showcase will include aerialist bellydancers wowing the audience with dazzling drops, spectacular spins and much more. Besides the special performances from The Angelina Tay School of Bellydance and The Singapore School of Samba, there will also be finger food for all guests afterwards. Proceeds go towards supporting a good cause – Save Our Street Dogs.

Ethos Books Festive Sale
The annual festive book makes a comeback at The Substation’s Gallery for three days of festive deals, with good books going for as low as $2 (exclusive of 50-per-cent discount just for Christmas).
