Expect 30 life-sized kaleidoscopic lantern sets featuring iconic scenes of celebration with themes such as Prosperity, Love, Fortune, and Harmony. If you prefer something more artsy, here's a way to experience something different away from the usual Lunar New Year crowds: check out Amy Ng's adaptation of August Strindberg’s Miss Julie at the Singapore Repertory Theatre. Travel back in time to Lunar New Year during post-war Singapore, and experience the frictions of class and race in a different time.
