The sequel to ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ is coming to cinemas for Valentine’s Day, 2017, and will be followed a year later by ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ again being released on the most romantic day of the year.
The second and third films in the trilogy, based on EL James’ hit bonkbuster novels, have been directed by ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ helmer James Foley after the first film’s director Sam Taylor-Wood declined the opportunity to return and complete the trology.
‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ was a huge hit in 2015 taking over £430 million at the global box office against a meagre £30m budget.
Here’s the official synopsis for ‘Fifty Shades Darker’: “When a wounded Christian Grey tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life, she demands a new arrangement before she will give him another chance.
As the two begin to build trust and find stability, shadowy figures from Christian’s past start to circle the couple, determined to destroy their hopes for a future together.”
