You might not have guessed it but we’re rather big Star Wars fans, and so when we find out that that there was an upcoming movie focused on the adventures of a young Han Solo we freaked out accordingly.
Even more recently it was announced that 26-year-old Alden Ehrenreich would be playing Solo, and again we freaked out.

Apparently over 3000 people auditioned for the role of Han Solo, in an audition process that took six months. That’s an INTENSE job interview, right?
Well luckily for us, Conan O’Brien has given us a sneak peak into some of the other stars who were also up for the iconic role of Han Solo.
The clips sees the likes of Melissa McCarthy, 50 Cent, Will Arnett, Jodie Foster, and even Jeff Goldblum auditioning for the role with varying success. It’s 100% HILARIOUS.
*cries actual tears*.
Maybe one day (and in a galaxy far, far away) we’ll hopefully get to see versions of the upcoming film where Jodie Foster plays Han Solo (THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN).
Until then, we’re just going to keep ticking off the days until the new Han Solo movie is out.
