WATCH: Mariah Carey Performs for the First Time Since Split from Fiancé James Packer

Mariah Carey took the stage for the first time since news of her split from fiancé James Packer was made public.

The singer shut down an entire block in Toronto, Canada on Thursday night to perform for the annual Hudson’s Bay and Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Window unveiling. Carey, 46, performed her Christmas classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” outside the Queen Street flagship store, wearing a red and pink Anna Maier gown and silver butterfly ring on that finger where her 35-carat diamond engagement ring once was.

At the free event, which was live-streamed on the department store’s Facebook, Mimi proved why she’s the Queen of Christmas tunes and delivered a stunning show that was topped with confetti and a fireworks display.

She and Packer, 49, first met in Aspen, Colorado in 2014 after mutual friend Brett Ratner introduced them to each other at the Hercules premiere. After going public with their romance a year later in June 2015, they made it red carpet official months later at The Intern premiere in New York City. Then earlier this year, the billionaire businessman proposed in her hometown of New York City on Jan. 21.

Though it appears to be business as usual for Carey, sources told PEOPLE that she’s still reeling from her broken engagement.

“First the split didn’t seem to faze Mariah. It was like she expected things to be fine soon,” the insider explained. “Now she realizes that things aren’t fine and not being with James makes her depressed. She is very hurt that he dumped her.”

Work commitments have kept her mind busy as “ doesn’t want to sit at home and dwell on it.”
