Watch the Insanely Terrifying Trailer for "The Ring" Sequel and Maybe Never Sleep Again
2016 is the year pretty much all the scary movies from your past return. Following the footsteps of the Blair Witch Project sequel, Paramount Pictures has released the crazy new trailer for Rings, the third film in The Ring franchise. The return of the black and white video, now available to view online, also means the return of Samara, her long hair, and all the crazy, deadly shit that happens seven days later. Rings finds a woman sacrificing herself to save her boyfriend after he watches the video. According to the movie's synopsis, she makes a "horrifying discovery" of a "movie within the movie," which pretty much means bad news, right?
If you're too afraid to watch even the trailer, just know you may never want to take a shower (or wash your hair) ever again. You'll also never want to open a video attachment in email, ride a plane, or clasp your hands together.
Johnny Galecki, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Julie Taylor from Friday Night Lights (also known as Aimee Teegarden IRL) star in Rings, which opens Oct. 28.
