WATCH: Incredibles 2 teaser trailer is here!
It’s been a loooooong wait, my friends. More than 13 years, in fact, but Disney-Pixar has finally released the first teaser trailer for the sequel to animated superhero flick The Incredibles.
The teaser for Incredibles 2 focuses on baby Jack-Jack, who was revealed to have powers of his own at the end of the first movie. It’s not much, but I think it’s safe to say that we can expect plenty of shenanigans for our superhero family.
For those of you unfamiliar with The Incredibles (you haven’t watched it?! GO WATCH IT NOW), a brief recap: in a world where “Supers” are looked down on in society for causing massive collateral damage due to fighting crime, a relocation programme sees Bob and Helen Parr (the former Mr Incredible and Elastigirl) and their children Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack living out a quiet life in the suburbs.
I don’t know about you, but just hearing the opening strains of Michael Giacchino’s famous theme tune for the movie was enough to give me goosebumps. Now all we have to do is sit tight and wait for the movie to drop sometime next year.
