Cardi B is a mother first and foremost.

The 26-year-old rapper made history on Sunday with her Best Rap Album GRAMMY win for Invasion of Privacy -- becoming the first solo female rap artist to win the category -- but she appeared to get even more emotional in a video she shared on Instagram after her big win of her daughter, Kulture, saying "mama" for the first time.

In the video, Kulture adorably says "mama" when prompted and Cardi can hardly control herself.

"Oh my god, oh my god," she says, covering her mouth and bursting into tears.

Cardi explained that 7-month-old Kulture has already been saying "papa"  -- which presumably has made her father, rapper Offset, overjoyed -- but had yet to say "mama."

"After a week of only saying papa! She saying mama!" Cardi excitedly wrote. "Happy seven months, Kulture! We love you @offsetyrn @hennessycarolina @melo9.11."

During her acceptance speech on Sunday, Cardi thanked Kulture.

"I want to thank my daughter," she said. "When I found out that I was pregnant, my album was not complete. I had like three songs. ... We was like, 'We have to get this album done so I can shoot these videos before I am showing.' It was very long nights."

She also brought Offset onstage. Despite announcing their split last December, the two now appear to be on good terms.

"You, husband, thank you," Cardi said. "Nah, serious, because he was like, 'You gonna do this album, girl. We gonna have this baby. We gonna make this album.'"

Offset recently shared footage with fans on Instagram of Cardi giving birth. The footage will be part of an upcoming documentary about the Migos rapper that's set to be released, along with his new album, on Feb. 22.

Meanwhile, Cardi recently opened up about suffering from postpartum depression after giving birth to Kulture, as well as about her decision to leave Offset. Watch the video below for more:
