Watch 'Allegiant' Stars Answer Fan Questions, Hilariously Fail to Recite Theo James's Full Name
“Theo James” is a lot easier to say — and fits way better on a movie poster — than the The Divergent Series’ breakout star’s full birth name: Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis. So you understand why the 31-year-old Brit goes by a shorter, Hollywood-friendlier stage name.
In a round of fan-submitted questions, Twitter user @alohashaii challenged Shailene Woodley and her castmates — who return in this week’s Divergent threequel Allegiant — to say James’s full name. The results are pretty hilarious, which you can see in the video above. A sampling:
Miles Teller: “Theo Beatrice Xanaphor.”
Octavia Spencer: “It’s something Zepadopalous.”
Only Woodley, whom James predicted would be the only one with the slightest clue, came close, omitting only “James.” Still, pretty impressive.
The cast also revealed some of their favorite moments from the set of Allegiant, and how they dealt with the insanely hot weather while filming in Atlanta, which stood in for a post-apocalyptic Chicago. Shout-out to @vilmary7kl and @trissoulsister for those questions, respectively.
