Tears were already streaming down the faces of Darci Lynne Farmer, 12, and Angelica Hale, 9, as the two young girls waited to hear who had won season 12 of America's Got Talent onWednesday night. But when Tyra Banks announced singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne as the grand champion during the live finals, she completely lost it, falling to the ground while sobbing and clutching her rabbit puppet, Petunia.

With 52 million votes cast, Darci Lynne became the second ventriloquist-and only the third female-to win the show, according to People.

"I was so overcome with joy, and I was kind of shocked and delirious at that time so I can't remember anything," the 12-year-old told Us Weekly. "It was waterworks right here on this face. I was like a water faucet."

Earlier in the broadcast, Darci Lynne got the chance to perform with her idol, AGT season 2 champ, Terry Fator, and his puppet, Winston the Impersonating Turtle. Check out their performance of "Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better)" below:

It wasn't a huge shocker that the Oklahoma City native took home the gold, though-judge Mel B was so impressed with Darci Lynne during auditions that she gave her the coveted Golden Buzzer, and during the first night of the live finals, Simon Cowell predicted her win after her performance of "With a Little Help from My Friends":

In addition to the title of season 12 champ, Darci Lynne will receive $1 million and a headlining appearance at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas from September 3-4. But what does she plan to do with all that cash? What any 12-year-old would do: get a dog, of course. "I would love to get a pug," Darcy Lynne told E! News. "A puppy, a baby pug, I just want one so bad. I'm ready…I'm ready to take on the puppy life," she said.

But she's also using her newfound loot for good, donating money to her church's mission program and getting her mom a new dishwasher.
