Warner Bros. Promotes Jeff Goldstein to President of Domestic Distribution

Warner Bros. Pictures has promoted veteran Jeff Goldstein to president of domestic distribution, the studio announced Wednesday.

Goldstein will assume all responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of the studio’s domestic distribution activities and work closely with Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing and distribution, on longer term strategies.

Goldstein previously served as executive vice president and general sales manager of domestic distribution since 2000. Before that, he served as senior vice president and general sales manager of domestic distribution.

Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, who served as the president of worldwide distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures, will transition into the role of president of international distribution and growth initiatives.

Her new role will focus on international theatrical distribution and theatrical growth in China while building partnerships. She will work closely with Richard Fox and Gillian Zhao, Warner Bros.’ country manager in China.

“This strategic realignment will capitalize on our continued domestic and international growth,” said Kroll. “Jeff is an accomplished distribution executive, and this promotion recognizes the many contributions he’s made to Warner Bros. Pictures. During his long tenure at the studio, he has established himself as extremely knowledgeable and well-respected among his peers. I look forward to working closely with him as film distribution and exhibition to evolve.”

Kroll added, “Having worked closely with Veronika for many years, it’s clear to me that no one understands the incredibly complex and crucial international marketplace better than she does. Veronika has successfully built many enduring partnerships for Warner Bros. during her almost three decades at the studio.”

Thomas Molter, executive vice president of international distribution, will continue to oversee day-to-day activities which include local market strategy implementation and partnerships with international exhibitors.
