Wang Leehom and Vanness Wu say goodbye to Avicii

23 Apr – Vanness Wu and Wang Leehom recently took to social media to bid their farewell to Swedish musician and DJ Avicii, who passed away recently.

As reported on Mingpao, Leehom, who collaborated with Avicii on his song, "Lose Myself" back in 2014, shared a photo of him with the DJ, writing, "Goodbye, my friend. Your music is forever."

On the other hand, Vanness, who once lent his voice to the Mandarin version of Avicii's "Levels", posted a throwback photo of them together and wrote, "Thank you Tim for blessing me to partake in a small portion of the immense joy you brought to the whole world. You are missed. Rest in Peace. God bless."

News of the death of Avicii, born Tim Bergling, shocked fans around the world when it was first reported.

The 28-year-old was found dead at Muscat, Oman, though no cause of death was reported. However, the Omani police stressed that there was no evidence of foul play in his death.

It was noted that Avicii had already retired from performing live in 2016 following the deterioration of his health.
