Wang Kai denies dating "Nirvana in Fire" co-star Angel Wang
11 Jul – "Nirvana in Fire" star Wang Kai has recently dismissed rumours that he is dating fellow actress Angel Wang.
As reported on ET Today, the actor, who met and became friends with Angel while working in the said drama in 2014, found himself romantically linked to the actress after he was spotted with the latter at a restaurant in Beijing.
In a video shared by the paparazzi, Wang can be seen coming out of the restaurant with his friends, before extending his hand to Angel - who was already outside - and holding it in his own.
When asked about it, Wang's rep denied that there was anything more to it.
"They are good friends. It was just a dinner gathering after a costume fitting session for their new series," said the rep.
Angel's camp also dismissed the romance rumours, saying that it was a simple work meal.
The two are set to star in a new drama called "Hunting", which will begin filming this 17 July.
