SINGAPORE — Devoid of the sense of wanderlust, especially with the uncertainly of travelling again, it’s hard to enjoy and rediscover new experiences within our confined environment.

Luxury brand Louis Vuitton aims to take us on an oasis getaway, by transforming its upper duplex Takashimaya store with hard-sided trunks in many forms and functions, as well as art objects, exotic handbags, watches jewellery and curated selections of furniture from the Objets Nomades collection.

The result is a modern oasis, with various themes that customers can walk-in (with an appointment, of course) and explore with their senses.

One of the themes include a natural patio, where a section was made to look like a rainforest, with a swing boat designed by Atelier Oi and a Bomboca sofa by Campana Brothers, which you can sit and take Instagram photos ala a Brazilian escape.

Clients can also personalise their Louis Vuitton trunk with graphics and images agreed upon with the in-house artisan.

A sporty section called Men’s Lifestyle features a Monogrammed foosball table and a trunk that features a turntable, are some of the more interesting finds to look out for.

Who knew you could customise your own trunks to your heart’s desire? The possibilities are endless, we must say.

The showcase of Savoir Faire continues on until 2 August, and clients are hosted via private appointments only, with social distancing measures in place.

To make an appointment, clients are advised to reach out to their client advisors or book an appointment via the Louis Vuitton Client Services at +6567883888.
