The wackiest runway looks from London Fashion Week September 2018

Anyone who assumes fashion is a stern-faced (no smiles allowed) industry should think again.

London Fashion Week is a chance for designers to finally bring their creative visions (and quite often bewildering dreams) to the runway. Thankfully, the SS19 shows have not disappointed.

Over at Matty Bovan, models took to the runway with precaution thanks to towering headpieces balanced upon their heads. Some posed for camera flashes with what appeared to be the remnants of the dishwasher sink forged into a hat while others showcased feather dusters and faux banknotes.

Pam Hogg also proves a talking point come fashion month and this season, models decked in frothed-up tulle masks and fuzzy legwarmers took to the runway.

But it’s not over yet, as the action unfolds in the capital keep up to date with the wackiest catwalk looks as they happen right here.
