This Virtual Auction Features Artwork of Spaces by Top Interior Designers

Buying artwork is thrilling in and of itself. But when it’s tied to a charitable effort? You can’t beat that combo. And right now, textile company Bassett McNab is hosting its first artwork auction to support the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The week-long virtual event features six framed window renderings dreamed up by top interior designers.

For Bassett McNab’s “Windows for a Cause” charity auction, six designers were challenged to “design window vignettes incorporating fabrics from Bassett McNab’s debut relaunch collection, marking the return of the brand’s 20-year hiatus,” according to a press release. Those designs were then turned into illustrations by artist Diane Carnevale. Each designer worked with Custom Picture Frames to give the pieces an impressive final touch.

The participating designers include Danielle Rollins, Joy Moyler, Kevin Isbell, Kevin Walsh, Lindsey Coral Harper, and Jared Hughes. Their window-based scenes range from coastal landscapes to stunning Parisian settings. Each piece incorporates at least one of the Bassett McNab’s fabrics—which often feature traditional florals, chinoiserie, and classic toiles. The starting bids are at $100 for each piece, and anyone can place bids through the auction website from now until April 23. Let the bidding wars for stunning wall art that supports a good cause begin!
