Vincent Wong doesn't want to compete with "Barrack O'Karma"

9 Oct – Although his new drama will be taking over the slot left by the beloved series, "Barrack O'Karma", Vincent Wong stated that he is not pressured at all by the thought of winning the viewers who loved the aforementioned drama.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attended the promotional event of his new series, "The Man Who Kills Troubles", said that he hopes that the success of Joel's drama will give his series some momentum instead.

"I don't want to feel any pressure. Give us some time. I just hope that the audiences will support our drama," he added.

Vincent is also confident that "The Man Who Kills Troubles" could do well despite the current socio-political climate in Hong Kong.

"This series is not just about cops and gangsters. It has other elements as well. I play two characters, a teacher and a solver," he said.

Asked if he thinks his new drama would enable him to win Best Actor for the second time, Vincent said that he doesn't think too much about awards.

"If the viewers support the drama, it is enough for me," he said.
