Vin Diesel Releases His Own Spin on Selena Gomez’s Latest Single

Vin Diesel: Action hero, social media star, giant robot, talking tree … music sensation?

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star has released his own rendition on Facebook of “It Ain’t Me,” Selena Gomez and Kygo’s latest single. Kygo was more than happy to let Diesel cut in, producing the remix himself so Diesel’s voice would perfectly fit with Gomez’s.

“I stepped out of my comfort zone for this one,” Diesel wrote on Instagram. “Thank you Kygo for producing this 2017 HIT! Thank you for believing in me enough to ask me to sing. Thank you Selena Gomez for bringing that beautiful and magical voice. Pained and celebratory simultaneously. I followed your lead when I went into the booth …”

This isn’t the first time Diesel has belted out a tune for the internet’s enjoyment. He’s done covers of other songs like Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and recently declared his desire to join James Corden for a ride on “Carpool Karaoke.”

During an appearance on “The Late Late Show,” he sang “Consider Yourself” from the musical “Oliver!” with Corden, who was impressed by Diesel’s knowledge of Broadway.

Check out Diesel’s latest musical masterpiece in the clip below. He returns to the role of Dominic Toretto in “The Fate of the Furious” on April 14.
