Vin Diesel now owns the "xXx" franchise so fourth movie is on!

Vin Diesel to return as Xander Cage in the fourth "xXx" movie.

19 Apr – The action packed "xXx" film franchise is returning with a fourth movie along with Vin Diesel reprising the role as the fearless main lead, Xander Cage.

Finance and production company the H Collective recently reported that they have acquired the rights of the action film franchise with Vin Diesal's One Race Films from Revolution Studios, and officially also announced the upcoming fourth sequel to the franchise.

"Bringing the next installment of the xXx franchise to The H Collective complements our diversified slate and mission to produce content for a global audience" says CEO of The H Collective, Nic Crawley.

The latest movie will be directed by the helmer of the previous movie, "xXx: Return of Xander Cage", D.J. Caruso.

Some of the most notable movies directed by Caruso is the thriller film, "Eagle Eye", starring Shia LeBouf as well as the sci-fi blockbuster movie, "I Am Number Four", starring Alex Pettyfer.

A total of approximately USD 656 million has been gained off the "xXx" franchise from its three movies; "xXx" (2002), "xXx: State of the Union" (2205) and "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" (2017) .

Although audiences won't get to see him in person on the big screen this year, they will still be able to hear him, as Diesel's upcoming work is as the voice of Groot for the upcoming Marvel film, "Avengers: Infinity War" releasing this month.
