Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert announce engagement
14 Feb – After eight years of relationship, Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert announced that they are now engaged to be married.
The actor shared the news on social media on 13 February with a couple of photos including one where the two of them showed off the engagement ring on Albert's finger, writing, "You'll never know when you are truly ready until you realize who you're living and breathing for."
"It's you [Sophie Albert]. We've grown up together and I look forward to growing old together. Good luck [Sophie], you are stuck with me for life. We're engaged!"
He also revealed that the proposal had actually happened late last year on 12 December.
Albert also expressed her thoughts on the engagement on the same day, writing, "Before 2020 came to an end, the love of my life proposed to me. Despite all the challenges we had to face, we were able to close the year filled with so much hope and love as amazing surprises happened in our lives."
"We've been [savouring] our precious moments and we are ready to share our joy and excitement! WE ARE ENGAGED! Thank you [Vin] for everything. Thank you for being you and for making everything special. I am blessed to have you as my best friend for life."
Prior to announcing their engagement, Abrenica and Albert revealed in January that they are moving in together.
