Villainous X-Men: Apocalypse Poster Assembles The Horsemen

Twentieth Century Fox has released an ace new poster for upcoming superhero epic ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, featuring the titular villain and his Four Horsemen.

Apocalypse stands behind the quartet of villains: Magneto (front), Storm (right), Psylocke (left) and Angel (back), who will be made implements of the powerful mutant’s reign of terror. Whether they’re willing implements remains to be seen.

The film arrives after the titanic releases of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and 'Captain America: Civil War’, so it has been occupying two mighty shadows to date, but there’s no denying this is a great poster for a promising blockbuster.

Magneto will be played by Michael Fassbender, who returns for the third time. He’s accompanied by newcomers Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Ben Hardy as Angel and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse.

The line-up implies that another poster featuring the film’s heroes will be released soon. James McAvoy’s Professor X and Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique are sure to feautre, then there’s Nicholas Hoult’s Beast, Tye Sheridan’s Cyclops, Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey and Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Nightcrawler.

Directed by Bryan Singer - directing his fourth 'X-Men’ movie - 'Apocalypse’ is set for release on 19 May.
