This Video of Prince William Dodging Questions About Kate RIGHT After Their Breakup Is So Awk
Kate Middleton and Prince William are married with three very posh children, but—like many college couples—they had a brief breakup thanks to some unknown ~drama~. What we do know is that the breakup took place in 2007, that it was so rough Kate was literally like "I'm out" and left England, and that they eventually got back together. Which, duh.
The thing is, William and Kate's breakup was pretty public—which brings us to this highly awkward and vaguely adorable clip of William being asked "How are things going with Kate?" during an interview with Prince Harry in 2007.
His reaction? Poor dude nervously giggled, was like "Uhhhh, well, uhhhhhhhh," and then deflected to chat about an upcoming event. "I've got lots of friends coming," he mused while Prince Harry lol'd. "So, you know, everyone's going to be there tonight, and it's going to be a great night, basically."
Harry tried to lighten things up by joking, "Very well avoided, William," to which William quipped "Very diplomatic," but basically it was all very cute/awkward. And speaking of awkward, you can watch William and Kate talk about their breakup during their engagement interview below, poor things:
