9 May – Viddsee, Singapore's online entertainment platform, has partnered up with Lifetime Asia to curate and broadcast a weekly selection of Viddsee's vast collection of short films made by local filmmakers.

Lifetime, a subsidiary of A+E Networks Asia, is a female-focused brand. The addition of Viddsee's short films that express the transformative experiences of modern day women to their signature Lifetime Original Movies will definitely be something to look forward to.

Prem Kamath, A+E Networks Asia's Deputy Managing Director, said in a statement that the partnership with Viddsee, who support their mission of leading entertainment through female-centric storytelling, will help further A+E Networks' vision of delivering Asian original movie content made by Asian filmmakers internationally and globally.

The partnership will mark the first time Viddsee's content is aired beyond its original online platform, therefore reaching a wider audience.

Viddsee's co-founder, Derek Tan, stated that they have already selected a collection of local stories that they want to share with a regional and global audience.

"We hope to develop more opportunities for our community of content creators, as we have done with "Time"," said Tan.

"Time" is a short film directed by Singaporean Daniel Yam, commissioned as a part of Viddsee's partnership with the Singapore Film Commission, of Singapore's Info-Communications Media Development Authority.

"Time" will be one of the first Asian short films that will premiere on Lifetime on 13 May as part of a Mother's Day special.
