Victoria Beckham wants her new beauty line to empower women.

The fashion designer recently launched Victoria Beckham Beauty with her business partner Sarah Creal and told Harper's Bazaar that the pair had a vision to create an all-encompassing clean beauty line that will eventually cover colour cosmetics, skincare, and wellness products.

For now, Victoria has focused on eyeshadow, and released four satin matte eyeshadow palettes, dubbed Smokey Eye Bricks, alongside four crystal-infused lid lustre pots and three different tones of satin kajal liner.

The 45-year-old explained that she and Sarah wanted to "create a beauty collection that was the future", but resisted promising customers that their products could work miracles.

"It's not about trying to make ourselves look any different, any younger. I'm not going to be coming out with products saying they're going to get rid of wrinkles - because that's bulls**t," the mother-of-four said. "I think we should celebrate who we are, and be the best, most powerful version of ourselves and celebrate that and celebrate each other, and as women be strong together."

The former Spice Girl said it "made sense" for her debut beauty line to focus on eyeshadows first.

"That is something that is very signature to me - a smoky, sexy eye," she explained.

Victoria Beckham Beauty will launch lip products in October, and Victoria promised they have "a big strategy" about what products they will release in the future.
