Victoria Beckham gearing up to launch debut skincare product

Victoria Beckham is venturing into the skincare market with a new moisturiser.

The fashion designer and beauty executive Sarah Creal co-founded Victoria Beckham Beauty earlier this year, with the line comprised of clean cosmetics made with luxurious ingredients.

Now, Beckham has announced the launch of a priming moisturiser formulated in collaboration with scientists at high-end German skincare company Augustinus Bader.

"I am so excited to finally announce my collaboration with Professor @augustinusbader," she captioned a snap of herself and label founder Professor Augustinus Bader on her Instagram page. "I have been working on this for a long, long time and it has been a dream to develop, with Augustinus, a priming moisturiser that works to improve the health of my skin and gives that fresh, natural glow that I love."

The moisturiser will be unveiled on 19 November. In a chat with Britain's The Times' newspaper, Beckham explained that the product was inspired by the Morning Aura cream that was included in her 2016 capsule collection for Estee Lauder, but insisted the new version is "better".

And Professor Bader is also very pleased with the final result.

"It was an honour to collaborate with Victoria for her first skin launch. I'm excited to share some of our skincare benefits in this product. It's the first product of its kind to care for your skin cells while also preparing your skin for make-up application," he commented.

Professor Bader's The Cream, a deeply hydrating moisturiser, has developed a huge following among celebrities, with fans including Diane Kruger and Kim Kardashian. A 50ml bottle of The Cream costs $265 (£205).
