After posting a sweet, animated Christmas card of her kids on Instagram yesterday, Victoria Beckham has released a behind the scenes look at the making of the card.

The fashion designer, 46, posted the video to her Instagram with the caption: “The making of… never work with kids or animals!!”

The video shows Victoria’s children, Brooklyn, 21, Romeo, 18, Cruz, 15, and nine-year-old Harper, along with her three dogs attempting to pose in front of a giant Christmas tree.

Victoria zeros in on Brooklyn, who is wearing a pair of grey shorts, first, asking him: “Brooklyn are you sure you don't want to put trousers on?"

She added that Cruz’s Borat Christmas jumper “sums up his personality”.

When things started to get a little chaotic - and the dogs weren’t cooperating - Victoria told her children: “This is a Christmas card guys, it’s meant to be a nice thing to do.”

Harper quipped: "It looks like a very sad Christmas."

Victoria replied: "It's not a very sad Christmas, it's a lovely Christmas.”

The card photo that was eventually settled on sees the three boys sitting beside each other with Harper perched behind.

Cruz and Brooklyn are given devil horns, while Romeo sports a pair of animated reindeer antlers and Harper wears a Santa hat.

Earlier this month, Victoria revealed what she thinks of future daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, who is engaged to eldest son, Brooklyn.

She told Lorraine: “She is just wonderful. She’s sweet, she's kind, she's such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman.

“We couldn’t have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady. We are very happy. We love her. He’s so happy.”

“It's nice with everything that has gone on this year that Brooklyn has found his soulmate and the lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with, during this time there’s been so much uncertainty and that everything felt a little bit sad.

“So we are very happy and very excited. What will I wear?!”

Brooklyn and Nicola announced their engagement in July 2020 after nine months of dating.
