20 Mar – Celebrity doctor Vicki Belo recently announced that her company Belo Medical Group will be donating its remaining stock of personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals in its effort to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 18 March, Belo shared the official announcement from her company, and wrote, "Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Belo Medical Group stays in solidarity with the government, and the people in our continued fight against the spread of COVID-19."

"We must, in all ways, go beyond the necessary actions for the betterment of our country. God bless us, and keep us all safe and healthy," she added.

In Belo Medical Group's announcement, the company stated that they are committed to the following:

a) The extension of full-pay and full-benefit for all of their employees despite the work suspension
b) Early release of employees' 13th month pay
c) Should the suspension of work last beyond the month of May, a modified "No work with pay" scheme to help employees tide over during these trying times.

They also urged their beauty and wellness centres to donate their stocks to the hospitals and health centres, and support their employees by maintaining their salaries and benefits regardless of the suspension.
