Last month, Vice President Kamala Harris got a brand new address at One Observatory Circle (although she's temporarily residing at Blair House while her new home undergoes renovations) in Washington D.C. As a result, the California native had to part ways with her longtime condo in San Francisco.

Harris's condo was listed with Anne Herrera of Sotheby's International Realty on February 7, according to its Zillow listing. By the 17th, it already had an interested buyer. Now, the one-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is currently under contract for $799,000.

But what's so notable about Harris's condo? Well to start, its style is fabulous. Located on the top floor of a boutique building in the SoMa neighborhood, the condo exudes a laid-back luxe style. Some features include: living and dining room areas with high ceilings, a chef's kitchen, a home office aclove, a patio, a fireplace, and more. Also, it’s a duplex! The bedroom can be found on the second level along with a full-bathroom and walk-in closet. You can see photos of the condo here.

According to property records cited on Zillow, Harris purchased this condo in 2004 for $489,000. This year was significant as it was the same year she became the first-ever female District Attorney in San Francisco (and the first African American woman and South Asian American woman to ever hold the position in the state of California). That, along with her big 2020 win, makes this a pretty legendary and historic spot in my book. I mean, think of how many speeches she wrote in that home office!

As we wait for the sale to be confirmed, you can check out Harris's temporary home in the President's Guesthouse, as the Vice Presidential Residence at One Observatory Circle undergoes renovations.
