Vic Sotto still can't believe his son is Pasig City's new mayor

24 May – TV personality Vic Sotto admitted that he is proud of son Vico, who won as Pasig City's new mayor in the 2019 midterm elections.

As reported on Rappler, the "Eat Bulaga" host, who spoke about his son's victory in ending the 27-year rule of the Eusebio clan in Pasig, shared that it hasn't really sunk in yet that his 29-year-old son is now a mayor.

"Maybe when the inauguration happens in July, that's the time I'll finally realise that I actually have a son who's a mayor," he said.

Sotto believes that the people liked Vico's campaign, which promises difference and change.

"What people see is his integrity. When Vico talks, you feel that it comes from his heart, not something generic. What he says is true, and not just because it's campaign period," he said.

Sotto is confident that his son will deliver all his promises and Sotto himself will continue to express support for the young mayor.
