17 Dec – Vic Sotto is confident that his latest Metro Manila Film Festival entry will be different from all his other movies of the past.
As reported on Rappler, the actor, who spoke to the media at the press conference of the said movie recently, shared that he would always make sure to offer something different in all of his projects and that "Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity" is no different.
However, he also ensured that the entertainment factor is still there.
"We want people to come out of cinemas with smiles on their faces. And I can assure you they'll be happy this Christmas after watching the movie," he said.
The upcoming movie, which was helmed by Mike Tuviera and co-stars Pokwang, Jake Cuenca and Maine Mendoza, stars Sotto as the titular Don Robert Fortun, who assembles a group of people to help clear his name after he is accused of a heinous crime and to retrieve the Pearl of the Orient from his brother (played by Jose Manalo).
Last year, Sotto participated in the MMFF with "Jack Em Popy: The Puliscredibles".
