Veteran turntablist DJ Jazzy Jeff returns to Southeast Asia next month


Will Smith's BFF and longtime collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff is bringing his remixes to Southeast Asia this coming November as part of his ongoing world tour.

The 52-year-old record producer will be touring Southeast Asian cities like Bali, Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur from 9 November until 12 November 2017.

Most known for his friendship and collaboration with Will Smith as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, as a duo with Smith, Jeff received two Grammy awards and was one of the most popular hip-hop acts in the early 90s.

Their most successful single was "Summertime" which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

When Smith branched out into television with the sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", Jazzy Jeff played a recurring character named Jazz, Smith's best friend on the show.



Even though the two has gone separate ways with each focusing on their own career, until now, they still remain as good friends and claim that they never split up.

DJ Jazzy Jeff is now a veteran turntablist, who has been in the field since 1985, wowing audience with his flawless turntable skills, innovative production and musical versatility.

Over the course of his career, the DJ has achieved many accomplishments including a DMC Championship and multiple Grammy and American Music Awards and nominations.

DJ Jazzy Jeff recently had a mini reunion with Will Smith and the two just recently released their EDM song titled "Get Lit".



In 2016, the BFF also reunited briefly in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the launch of nightclub Prime Touch Luxury.

For the Southeast Asian leg of his tour, the DJ will first visit Bali's Old Mans restaurant on 9 November, and then he will head to Singapore and Bangkok's CÉ LA VI clubs on 10 and 11 November, respectively, and end the tour in Malaysia's Prime Touch Luxury on 12 November.
