9 Aug – Hong Kong actress Venus Wong recently expressed happiness that her movie, "Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight" was invited to attend the 23rd Made in Hong Kong Film Festival in Washington.
As reported on Singtao, the actress, who shared photos from her trip to the event recently, revealed that it was a pleasure for her to be able to represent the movie and attend the festival.
"The zombie culture is very popular in the US. I want to see what they think about Hong Kong produced zombie films," she said.
On the other hand, when asked if she had bought anything for her boyfriend filmmaker Derek Tsang, Venus said that she just bought him something from the flea market.
"Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight" is a comedy movie about a group of slackers battling a horde of the undead, directed by Alan Lo.
Other movies screened at the event include Wilson Yip's "Paradox", the award-winning "Our Time Will Come", and Andy Lau-starrer "Shock Wave".
