"Vedigundu Pasangge" to open in the UK this week!

Local filmmaker Vimala Perumal's new movie also opens this week in Malaysia


"Vedigundu Pasangge" is opening in the UK on the same week as its release
in home country, Malaysia.

24 Jul – In just a few more days, fans of Tamil movies in the United Kingdom are in for a real treat as Vimala Perumal's "Vedigundu Pasangge" will be releasing in the cinemas there.

The Malaysian filmmaker's newest movie will be running in 5 cinemas in the UK starting from this 27 July.

The cinemas that will be screening the movie are Cineworld Cinema Ilford; Cineworld Cinema Feltham; Boleyn Cinema, Eastham; Piccadilly Cinema, Birmingham; and Piccadilly Cinema, Leicester.

Starring Denes Kumar, the action comedy serves as the third movie in the "Pasanga" trilogy, which started in 2011 with "Vilaiyaatu Pasange", followed by 2014's "Vetti Pasanga".

Kumar, who also produces the threequel, is joined by Sangeeta Krishnasamy ("Adiwira Ku"), Seelan Manoheran ("Aasaan"), Thangamani Velayudan and David Anthony, as part of the cast.

The local Tamil movie centres on a village boy called Theva, who ends up in a big twisted situation and realises everything around him is a pool of mystery. Even worse, Boss is using him as bait for a wrong agenda.

"Vedigundu Pasangge" is opening in cinemas nationwide this 26 July.
