Vans will drop a new, limited edition line of sneakers honoring the late rock icon David Bowie. The line includes takes on four of Vans’ most popular silhouettes, the Slip-On 47 V DX, Old Skool, Era, and Sk8-Hi, each customized in colorways inspired by some of Bowie’s most beloved albums-Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Space Oddity, and Diamond Dogs.

Each sneaker is as different as the eras of Bowie’s famously ever-evolving aesthetic. The Old Skool is cut in sleek leather, while the Sk8-Hi features a suede upper and the Slip-On includes Vans' signature checks in a faux-fur style. The line will reportedly drop on April 5th.

Bowie died of liver cancer in 2016, leaving behind a style legacy that influenced the fashion world nearly as thoroughly as his albums reshaped music. Bowie influenced designers from Jean-Paul Gaultier to Dries Van Noten, and inspired a fashion-heavy exhibit, David Bowie Is, which brought the musician's iconic styles to museums all over the world between 2013 and 2018.

This isn't Vans' first rock and roll collaboration-just last month saw the iconic sneaker company debut the Vans X Led Zeppelin collection. That line featured a black Era colorway decked out in Zeppelin's famous Four Symbols, and a Sk8-Hi edition emblazoned with the image of the Hindenburg airship that was famously featured on their 1969 debut album. The collection included two matching t-shirts as well as a baseball cap, but there's no word yet whether or not the Bowie collab will include similar accompanying swag.
