This isn’t Hudgens’ first time in mules. She’s previously worn pairs by Schutz this summer, while the style has skyrocketed to become one of the season’s most popular shoes. Mules have become a go-to shoe due to their ease for slipping on and off, and their stylish roots in ’90s and early 2000s fashion. Pairs in varying colors and heel heights have also been worn in recent weeks stars like Rihanna, Emily Ratajkowski and Jordyn Woods, often from high-end labels like Bottega Veneta and The Attico.

When it comes to shoes, Hudgens’ preferred styles vary between sleek and sporty. The “High School Musical” alumn is known for her penchant for wearing chunky sneakers for off-duty looks and the gym, usually from labels like Naked Wolfe, Mercer Amsterdam, and Balenciaga. When hitting the red carpet, she can often be spotted in sleek pointed-toe pumps and platform sandals from brands like Versace, Brian Atwood, and Stuart Weitzman. Hudgens also mixes affordable styles into her off-duty wardrobe as well, such as Tkees flip flops, Crocs clogs and Adidas slides that all retail for under $50.
