"Untrue" streaming on Netflix this June 22
11 Jun – The Cristine Reyes-starrer, "Untrue" will soon be available on streaming service, Netflix.
As reported on Push, the news was announced by Viva Entertainment on social media on 10 June, writing, "One story. Different versions. Who is telling the truth? Find out the truth behind Mara and Joachim's romance with "UnTrue". Streaming on Netflix on June 22."
The film, which made its debut at the QCinema Film Festival last year, is a "he said she said" story revolving Reyes as a businesswoman who shows up at a police station one night with a bruised face looking for her missing husband (Xian Lim).
It was directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who previously helmed the 2016 sleeper hit, "Kita Kita".
The movie is the second Filipino film that was announced to be a part of Netflix's upcoming release, following the Bela Padilla and JC Santos' romance film, "On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets".
