It feels like the minute the weather finally warms up, all of our social calendars begin to fill with nonstop activities — and that oh-no-I-have-nothing-to-wear feeling can hit hard. But a reliable, lightweight dress that can be styled a variety of ways is an easy solve, and that's why my latest obsession is an under-$100 silk dress from Quince.

I love a midi-length dress because it can easily be dressed up with heels or down with a pair of flat sandals or even sneakers. With a bias cut and a cowl neckline, the easygoing garment is equal parts comfy and versatile — I'm planning on letting it carry me through summer, wearing it to birthday parties, rooftop kickbacks, dinners and nights out dancing.

Aside from the price, the other majorly appealing aspect of this dress is that it's made from 100% mulberry silk — and yet, it's machine washable — a rarity for the delicate fabric, which typically comes with a "dry-clean only" disclaimer.
