27 Nov – Director Mae Cruz-Alviar has nothing but compliments for Bea Alonzo, one of the stars of her new movie, "Unbreakable", for her professionalism.

As reported on Push, the filmmaker, who spoke about working with the actress on the set of the said movie, stated that Alonzo has always been a pro when it comes to her work, despite whatever was going on in her personal life.

"She's not going to ditch work or abandon work just because she's going through something. She will be a pro, she will show up and she will do her job well. It's not going to be a burden on her or on us," she said.

It is noted that Alonzo was already in a conflict with then boyfriend Gerald Anderson while she was in the midst of production.

"I have to give it to her. She knows how to be professional and she values not only her work, but the work of other people as well," she added.

The praise was also directed to Alonzo's fellow co-stars Angelica Panganiban and Richard Gutierrez, saying they all contributed a lot in making the characters believable.

"It is good to work with artists who know what they are doing and are passionate about it. Not only are they passionate, they are great. It was such a blessing that I was given this opportunity to work with them," she added.

"Unbreakable" is set to be released on 6 December.
