7 Jun – Actress Ummi Nazeera recently revealed that her decision to take some time off from acting really paid well, as she was able to safely give birth to her second child, a princess.
In a post shared on Instagram on 7 June, the actress revealed that she actually experienced similar complications in her second pregnancy with a low-lying placenta as to when she was pregnant with her first daughter Ayra.
"When I was pregnant with Ayra, I was bleeding in my sixth months onwards, but with Ayra's baby sister, it was earlier at four months," she said.
Ummi said that she decided to take the doctor's advice and took some time off her acting career to focus on her pregnancy, which enabled her to safely give birth to her second child.
"I was given the chance to experience a normal childbirth this time. I am grateful," she said, adding that her baby was born on 2 June after 38 weeks and four days, unlike her first daughter who was delivered four weeks earlier due to heavy bleeding.
"Thank you everybody for your beautiful prayers. God willing, I will share the baby's name on the seventh day," she added.
Back in December, Ummi admitted that she was surprised upon finding out that she was pregnant again, seeing that she and her husband Izzar Anwari planned only to add a new member to the family at the end of 2021.
