Uma Thurman Breaks Bones After ‘Equestrian Accident’
We’re wishing Uma Thurman a very speedy recovery after she was involved in an ‘equestrian accident’ that left her with broken bones.
The incident happened in St. Barts, where the actress has been holidaying, though the exact time of the accident has not been confirmed.

Confirming the accident, a rep for Uma told Page Six: “Uma was in an equestrian accident. She was training on a young thoroughbred who got spooked. She was thrown and broke a few bones.”
Sources told the site that she was seen ‘walking gingerly’ into La Plage restaurant in St. Barts, aided by her children, and that she ‘looked like she had hip surgery’.
Uma has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, and one with financier and former fiancé Arpad Busson.

Though she’s expected to make a full recovery, it’s not known whether Uma’s injuries will affect production on her upcoming film, ‘The Brits Are Coming’, which also stars Sofia Vergara and Crispin Glover.
She has three other films in the works.
