Um, Tayshia Adams Was Run Over by a Truck and Had to Learn How to Walk Again

Tayshia said the accident left her with a fractured pelvis and she needed to learn how to walk again.
The fact that we're even getting to witness Tayshia Adams be the Bachelorette right now is a massive blessing, TBH. Back when Tayshia was a wee lassie in college, she was left unable to walk because—prepare yourself for this one—she was legit hit by a truck and spent a good chunk of her freshman year on a walker as a result. True story.
Tayshia shared her truly wild story on Hannah Ann Sluss and Joe Amabile's Click Bait With Bachelor Nation podcast. “As I’m pushing the buttons to get my Skittles, I hear music,” the Tayshia explained. “Whenever I hear music I start dancing, and I see it’s my friend’s truck. I went out to go talk to them. I’m hanging on the window talking to them. They take my Skittles. Next thing you know, I’m like, ‘I’m gonna go. Have fun at the party,’ so I hop over the window to grab my Skittles back and I’m hanging on the truck.”
“I was like, ‘This is kinda fun’ and the guy said, ‘I got you! We’re going!’ I was like, ‘OK, I’m going,’ and my friend Charlie said, ‘No, it’s fine. We got you,’"” Tayshia continued. “Anyway, the guy is holding onto me, the driver hits the gas. There’s a little yellow speed bump and I’m in the truck and I pop off and my body’s hanging off the truck. The back truck tire goes over my leg.”
Because of the incident, Tayshia ended up with a fractured pelvis and trie tracks of her legs for two weeks. During those two weeks, Tayshia had had to “relearn how to walk,” which caused her running career to be over. “I had to move my college dorm room. I had a walker in college. I didn’t have a boyfriend my first year, I’ll tell you that much,” she added.
When taking this all into consideration, it's going to be a huge joy to see Tayshia run into the arms of whichever man she gives the final rose to!
