Um, Erykah Badu just did a bunch of palm readings on Twitter and it was so hilarious

If you’ve ever called a psychic hotline or seen a commercial advertising their services, you’re probably aware of the fact that having a stranger remotely deliver a rundown of your future can be hella pricey. Luckily, anyone who hit up Erkyah Badu on Twitter for palm readings recently got one hell of a bargain: an “expert” “palm” reading for free!

When one of Badu’s followers asked her “can you read my palm, tho?” the seemingly random request spawned a flurry of responses from the eclectic soul singer, whose hilarious future-predicting responses ironically took place just before we learned that popular TV psychic Miss Cleo passed away from cancer.

As the series of responses below prove, fans should be careful what they ask for when soliciting online psychic advice from their faves because Badu absolutely did not hold back (I mean, does she ever?):

After reading (and guffawing over) Badu’s readings, we’re thinking she and Chrissy Teigen should host a joint Twitter Q&A sesh because clearly they’re both pros at it.
