Ukraine evacuates nearly 200 children from Kharkiv Oblast amid ongoing Russian shelling
Due to ongoing Russian attacks local authorities in Kharkiv Oblast have ordered a mandatory evacuation in Kupyansk district, with 190 children already removed to safety, governor Oleh Synehubov reported on Nov. 7.
According to Ukraine’s General Staff, Russian forces have launched several failed assaults around Synkivka and Ivanivka in the district. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled approximately 12 enemy attacks in these areas.

According to Synehubov, the Russians also shelled the village of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, destroying a residential building.
Russian forces have been systematically shelling the Kupyansk district of Kharkiv Oblast, and Ukrainian military reports indicate that Russian occupiers may be planning to retake it.

Kharkiv Oblast had already ordered the mandatory evacuation of 275 children and their families from 66 settlements in the region.
