UK retailer Tesco adds Nintendo NX order page
UK supermarket giant Tesco has posted a landing page for the as yet-unreleased "Nintendo NX Wii U".
Much of the information provided on Tesco's page is being received as placeholder, but the mere fact of its existence shows that the multinational retail chain is preparing for pre-orders of the Nintendo NX.
According to Nintendo Life, who reported the news, Tesco also originally listed a price on the page of £349.99 (approximately $450), although this may not be an accurate reflection of the machine's launch price -- for comparison, Sony's PlayStation 4 was introduced at $399 back in 2013.
With Nintendo already targeting March 2017 as a launch date for its unrevealed console, the Japanese manufacturer, well known for mascot Mario and for making the Nintendo Wii, is expected to provide further details within the next few months.
