Tyler, the Creator shares new video for 'A Boy Is a Gun'

"A Boy Is a Gun" appears on Tyler, the Creator's latest studio effort, "Igor," which the rapper-producer unveiled in May.

A few months after the album release, Tyler has shared the accompanying music video for "A Boy Is A Gun," which was directed by Wolf Haley.

The cinematographic visual sees the artist embodying his white-wigged alter ego, Igor, as he laments the end of a romantic relationship.

As his disinterested love interest drives off in a chauffeured vehicle, Igor wanders around an opulent mansion, running through a maze-like garden and reclining in a bubble bath.

"How come you're the best to me? I know you're the worst for me/Boy, you're sweet as sugar, diabetic to the first degree/My spidey sensies got me on the fencies," he raps in one of his verses over a synth-filled melody.

"A Boy Is a Gun," whose title hints at 1971 French western movie "A Girl Is a Gun," appears on Tyler, the Creator's fifth studio album, "Igor."

The record features guest contributions by Pharrell Williams, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Santigold, Solange and Kanye West.

As Tyler, the Creator announced on Twitter, Solange makes a quick appearance on "A Boy Is a Gun," "sound[ing] like an angel landing."

Tyler, the Creator is currently in the middle of his world tour supporting "Igor," having kicked off the first of his three shows at London's O2 Academy Brixton on September 16.

A few days later, he will embark on a North American trek in Columbia, Maryland, before wrapping it up on November 9 and 10 with his annual Camp Flog Gnaw carnival.

The eighth installment of the festival will see Tyler sharing the stage of Los Angeles's Dodgers Stadium with Solange, YG, Brockhampton, H.E.R, 21 Savage and more.
