'Twin Peaks' actress Amanda Seyfried in Singapore for Cle De Peau Beaute opening

“Twin Peaks” actress Amanda Seyfried was in town for the grand opening of Cle De Peau Beaute’s store at Mandarin Gallery on Thursday (25 May), and also managed to grab a drink at Starbucks and watch monkeys having what appears to be a violent brawl.

The 31-year-old is currently the face of the cosmetics brand, which is owned by multi-national Japanese company Shiseido.

Cle De Peau Singapore’s Instagram said that this is the actress’ first visit to our sunny – and rainy – island.

According to the brand’s Insta Stories (@cledepeaubeautesg), the mother of one and wife to actor Thomas Sadoski was heard describing Singapore as “beautiful”, even though she had only been in the country for 24 hours at the time.

The star was also seen rubbing shoulders with local television actresses Jeanette Aw and Sheila Sim.

Earlier on 19 May, the actress was in Los Angeles for the premiere of Showtimes’ television show “Twin Peaks”. The star of musical hit “Mamma Mia” will also be in the movie’s sequel.

Seyfried also had the chance to sightsee in Singapore.

According to her Instagram (@mingey), she seemed rather taken aback by a group of violent monkeys she had seen at what looks like one of Singapore’s reservoirs.

In another post, she was seen strolling with a cup of Starbucks coffee in one hand and looking relaxed in a white t-shirt. Her second post also hinted that her husband might be in town with her, too.

Her post said, “In a place I love with the man I love drinking the thing I love #Singapore ❤️????????☕️????????”
