Travis Kelce's (Inevitable) Taylor Swift Podcast Is Here
If you (somehow) haven’t heard, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are a thing. Their rumored fling began earlier this year, when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end attended the Eras Tour. Like any good Swiftie, he brought the singer a friendship bracelet... but he used the beads to disguise his number. Since then, Kelce and Swift have been hanging out and the Internet—including every Swiftie known to mankind—can’t get enough of it.
Most recently, Kelce invited Swift to attend this past Sunday's Chiefs game. “I told her that I’ve seen her rock a stage in Arrowhead and she might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead,” Kelce explained on The Pat McAfee Show. Swift accepted the invitation and watched the game with Kelce’s mother, while he led his team to a 41-10 victory. When Kelce scored a touchdown, she was even seen yelling, "Let's fucking go!!!" After the game, Swift and Kelce left the stadium together in a slick convertible.
The latest event in this saga? On Wednesday morning, Kelce spoke about the fanfare with his brother, Jason, on the latest episode of their podcast, New Heights. “We’ve been avoiding this subject out of respect for your personal life, but now we gotta talk about it,” Jason said. “My personal life, that's not so personal,” Travis joked. “I did this to myself, Jason. I know this.” Since he was spotted with Swift, Kelce says he’s experienced some changes in his day-to-day life. Shocker. “I’ve noticed a few things,” Kelce explained. “Paparazzi at my house. S**t like that.”

Well, Mr. Kelce, be careful what you wish for! Earlier this year, the football star complained about not getting Swift's attention—and now, all eyes are on him. Though he eventually met Swift, Kelce’s friendship bracelet meet-cute was shut down. He spoke about the incident on a prior episode of New Heights. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce said. “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me,” he continues, “So, I took it personal.”
Despite his concerns, Kelce made a lasting impression and things seem to be going well. Now, we'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out.
