‘Transparent’s Alex MacNicoll Joins Oliver Daly’s Pic ‘Miles’

EXCLUSIVE: Alex MacNicoll has been cast in the indie Miles from director/writer Oliver Daly, joining Alex Neustaedter and pop star Becky G.

Said to be a contemporary nod to the classic 1980s E.T., the film is about an up-and-coming motocross star who stumbles upon a militarized, robotic dog that has recently escaped government captivity. MacNicoll will play Sam, a rising motocross star and archrival to the title character (Neustaedter). From Lakeshore Entertainment and Phantom Four Films, the film is being produced by David Goyer, Gary Lucchesi, Tom Rosenberg, and Kevin Turen

MacNicoll is perhaps best known for his role as Colton, son of Josh Pfefferman, on Amazon’s Transparent. Repped by Gersh, Joanne Horowitz Management and Stone Meyer, he will appear in Dwight H. Little’s Last Rampage.
