New trailer out for Marvel's 'Luke Cage' live-action series

Netflix and Marvel have released the second full trailer for Marvel's "Luke Cage" live-action series, ahead its premiere on September 30.

The show, the third of four series launched as part of the deal between Marvel Studios and Netflix, stars Mike Colter as the title hero, a street-fighting ex-con with superhuman strength and impenetrable skin, who battles crime on the streets of New York.

Colter is flanked by co-stars including Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, Theo Rossi as Shades, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

Cheo Hodari Coker ("Notorious", "NCIS: Los Angeles") will serve as executive producer and showrunner of the anticipated series, originally created by Archie Goodwin and John Romita, Sr., and one of the most popular street level heroes in the Marvel Universe (via ComingSoon).
